I turned to this platform to search for a tutor specializing in higher history. Tracking down tutors familiar with the Scottish curriculum ain't a walk in the park, and I checked out a bunch of other sites. This one stands out as the most comprehensive, user-friendly, and super professional. I really hoped to discover all the tutors I needed on First Tutors. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone for drama higher or media higher.

"My Experience with First Tutors Over the Years"
I've been using First Tutors for quite a while now and have racked up nearly 50 positive reviews thanks to them. They’re really easy to work with. There was just one time I got let down when a client tried to blackmail me, saying I had to give a free session or they'd leave me a bad review. I brought this to First Tutors' attention, but they didn’t remove the negative feedback, which I have kept unpublished. I suppose they want to maintain transparency with feedback, but in this case, it just didn’t feel right. That’s why I’m giving them only 4 stars.

I've been an English tutor on this site since 2016. Sure, the first chats can be a bit of a puzzle since the algorithm sometimes jumbles up lesson times and dates, but overall, I find the platform pretty straightforward and user-friendly. I really like that FT stays out of the agreements between tutors and students, only adjusting the initial connection fee for the student before letting them proceed on their own. They strike me as a trustworthy, dependable, and well-structured company, and I'm happy to be associated with them.

I've utilized First Tutors for both my girls. They offer a way to connect with tutors. Usually, we go back and forth with a handful of potential tutors before picking one that fits our needs. There’s an initial fee for this service. After that, the payment details are sorted out directly with the tutor. FT claims to verify the tutors' credentials, but we also do our own homework. We use Teams, Zoom, and Skype for sessions, and that works well for my daughters. Definitely would suggest First Tutors.
